New York Sportimes win Eastern Conference title; Sacramento, Springfield advance to WTT Playoffs

[July 24, 2006] The New York Sportimes will have an opportunity to defend their 2005 title this week at the WTT Playoffs in Newport Beach, Calif. The Sportimes won the Eastern Conference title with a 23-19 win on Monday evening over the Sacramento Capitals.

Philadelphia and Delaware are battling for the second spot from the Eastern Conference - a race that may not be decided until the final night of the season on July 26.

Sacramento and Springfield will both advance to the WTT Playoffs but the Western Conference champion is yet to be decided.
